Premios y Bolsos / Prizes and Bags

These models are to have any work or simply when you go shopping.

Me encantan estos zapatos y he empezado a coleccionarlos.

... And the little shoemaker nails, nails
Nails, nails on the heel
And happy nailing gave, gave
All his heart.

Every time I find mould wooden shoes, I remember this old children's song. I love those shoes and I started to collect. I guess that they, of first photo, must have been a very elegant model, for a distinguished gentleman, I retain unchanged. The child's shoe I painted by hand and then sanded. And the last is decorated with decoupage and its effect I loved it, looks like porcelain. I am fascinated gathering, so it will continue behind its footprint.

Goodbye.

When one is feeling comfortable with brushes, wish to know new techniques. That happened to me with the oil painting.
I took classes for many years with an Argentinean teacher, Enriqueta, who had come to Chile to be near to their sons that are living in my country.
She introduced me to this technique, since drawing with charcoal to prepare different colours.
Enriqueta died two years ago and these painting will show a footprint left in me. (There is two more painting that is at home of my mom and on another occasion I will show).

Cojines "Crazy" / Crazy Pillows

After both challenge craft, I imposed an I finish a job weekly and started with a crazy pillow. I had made the block with pieces of tapestry and had saved more than a year ago. The part most I like of these blocks is embroidery with silk threads, but the work is slow, none is equal to another.I don't know many stitches, but I love this technique, I meet ideal for a "crazy" recycler as me.

These did the last year for a sister-in-law.

And these for my mom, on they, I use some napkins embroidered for her 50 years ago with the initials of her and my dad.

Another thing, Cecilia of Titicandia is organizing a buttons swap, and she has asked to state our tastes, then the person of the swap will have any reference ours. I put in my banner: "I like all the arts less cooking, so I am very happy with any work done by hand.
