Cambio de planes / Change of plans

That was the message left by one of my child at your dad in the bathroom door.
As Sebastian did change of plans; I also decided to make a change, I made a purse with hexagons proposed by Belen, so when I saw the circular pieces, the light bulb went on immediately.
Belen:  I don't achievement  properly fills a pincushion, I added and added padding and never shaped piece, however, I have no problem to sew a zipper.

Hasta pronto.
Goodbye.

With the "leftovers" of the Marathon’s recycled fabrics I made a pillowcase. Cut strips of 3" long and variable width of 1 ½" to 2 ¼ "; fourteen bands were enough to arm both sides of the pillow. Only a linear quilting, as this was not what I had to highlight.

A crochet's piece found in a flea fair, and six square buttons served to close and provide the decor to the pillow.
Gracias por sus visitas, nos vemos pronto.
Thank you for your visit, goodbye.

Navidad en septiembre / Christmas in September

Ha ha, I'm not crazy, in these days a lot of things has happened: a friend has lent me the book "301 Country Christmas quilt blocks", my sewing machine was in maintenance, etc...  So I had to take advantage of the "favorable wind.”

A few blocks left over from another quilt; crochet's samples that my mom gives me (for any use), buttons and more buttons to make a very country Christmas centerpiece.
Hasta pronto.
Goodbye.

I love them and every time I find one, I am there.

He cosido muchos bloques alternados, últimamente los he retomado y ordenado.
A year ago I discovered "Traditional Tuesday" a Jenifer Dick's quilt along, the “arch-known blocks” made in 6 ½", but still they charming. Step by step sewing these blocks can be traditional or opt for the same block, modern version.
I've sewn many without order blocks, lately I have taken up and tidy.
The photo shows the first 12 blocks, are not they sweet?

This block was made eve of Halloween, but with the black fabric that I use, looks more like "Pirates of the Caribbean" or no?
Hasta pronto.
Goodbye.
