"At home of blacksmith, knife of wood", this I occur to my ever attending a course or want to lead a work elsewhere, I had nowhere to keep it, depending on size, fit in a purse or even in the bags supermarket.
After two years without taking classes, I wanted to be joining such a course this season, Talagante patchwork teacher this year did not follow the course, and just to think about traveling to Santiago, discourage me. I like painting, but not I was convinced now repeated, kitchen ... no, absolutely not, so the other option is "crochet" and why not?, I weave the curtains for the kitchen, folders and even a cotton bedspread , all straight, but trying to shape a vest is a martyrdom (hopefully succeed in this attempt) ... but I had no bag to carry wool.
From country panels with angels, I made a bag "fits all", I hand quilting the motifs and decorated it with little buttons, also added straps on the sides to hide the block form so characteristic of this model. I was happy with the bag, coming soon; I hope to show my first vest.
During the week I practiced quilting machine (I have not yet begun to move freely), I used a block of many squares of different fabrics. When I finished the exercise, I did not leave the quilt abandoned, I make a case, adding lace and a flower from a yo-yo (the case was disproportionate, but did not want to lose the job of quilting).
Goodbye.
