Carrera de liebres terminada / Hares race finished

Me he divertido con esta carrera, pasada las 8 de la noche terminé su ropa. Decoré el pantalón con un pespunte en el borde, y en el vestido, por el tipo de tela rústica, sólo un bolillo finito.

Es el primer conejo que hago, agradezco a las organizadoras (Mª Carmen y Beatriz), ya que si no fuera por esta carrera, aún estaría intentando coser un muñequito.

Carrera de liebres / Hare Race

Estoy participando en una carrera de liebres, este es el primer objetivo: la libre desnuda, el diario del día y las telas para coser su ropa.

Verano 2011 – primera parte / Summer 2011 - Part I

Flojo y caluroso, como siempre, comenzó enero. Las vacaciones están planeadas para el próximo mes, Chiloé, Bariloche, escuchó por ahí, personalmente, a esta altura de mi vida no programo nada con demasiado tiempo, prácticamente vivo el día a día.
En estos días contemplo el jardín, muchas salidas y nadie ha cortado el pasto.

Intento leer, es primera vez que leo a este autor chileno ("La contadora de películas" Hernán Rivera Letelier).

En costura, comencé con algunas tentaciones, la cesta de Isi: tuve que hacer dos bloques del primer objetivo, ya que no leí la “letra chica” y el primero lo hice completamente con puntada festón, pero no quería empezar mal, así que hice un segundo bloque corregido.

También he hecho los bloques de Civil War Quilt, me encantan las colchas de reproducción, aunque uso otras telas.

Los últimos bolsos / The last bags

Hola, ¿cómo están?, por acá comenzando un cuarto año en el mundo blogueril, espero que las musas no me abandonen.
Estos trabajos quedaron en el “tintero”, los hice para algunos compromisos en el mes de diciembre.

La persona que me encargó este bolso, lo quería sin fuelle y con asas para llevarlo al hombro, sin que éste se viera demasiado largo. La decoración consistió en bordar y acolchar a la vez el contorno de cada flor y hojas grandes con hilos de bordar al tono y coserle mostacillas en el centro de las flores, el resto del panel, lo acolché a máquina con hilo del mismo color del fondo ( me gusta mucho el efecto tono sobre tono).

Esta bolsa-vestido la hice para un regalo de cumpleaños, encontré muy simpático el modelo donde se puede guardar de todo. La aplicación de “Sue” cazando mariposas le da un toque especial, el acolchado a máquina y el botón siguen la misma temática.
