Entre lluvia y lluvia…/ Between rain and rain...

... Flourished more bags. I took these pictures at moment with good natural light, but when I hung up the bags began to run very windy and then the sky turned as well.

This year I knitted several grannies square for a handbag, but to sew it had to make another bag with a fabric that looks through the blocks to crochet and a lining for the interior, plus a cotton fabric between the two so that the handbag had body. When it was ready, with handles included (it's uncomfortable sew these wooden handles), I just then hand sewed the grannies bag. I liked the model, but the next bag will be on thread to premiere in spring ... spring around here that we call it shouting, ha, ha.

The second bag: other colours and embroideries, for a model that is becoming my presentation.

Every time I make an entry "a little bit of everything" and that "there is much to say" or "nothing shows anything new."
A few days I provided fascinated with blossom Acacia dealbata in my street, a sign that spring is coming, but yesterday the winter was felt and non-stop rain since last night.

Last Tuesday I met Marci, a Chilean living in the USA (unfortunately I have no photos of the meeting), she came to visit his family and bring me fabrics that I had been requested. Here is the fat quarter in shades of yellow and orange, some Gütermann threads in a beautiful box of collection and this nice thimble decorated with dolphins from Florida. Marci asked me what the use the fabrics, at that time I was not at all clear,

but after Emi convinced me to make a Baltimore quilt that will begin in October, and while I do not dare to join new projects ... I am registered, and that is as Emi said: "even if we live 100 years, we have not yet finished our projects", but we enjoyed them.

De hecho esta semana sólo hice bloques para el intercambio 15 x 15 y recibí el primero, me lo envió Ana Serrano desde Granada, España;

In fact just this week I made blocks for the swap 15 x 15 and I received the first, sent me Ana Serrano from Granada, Spain;

I made bags that for friends, and although I do not like to sew on series, this model more they wish, so for I don’t weary, I varied fabrics, textures, embroideries, quilt by hand or machine, and even their size.

I still have two more next week (please, you don't create that I am a machine, that I usually turn to blocks that made before and are waiting for the turn to be used).
Good bye.

Con un toque antiguo / With a touch of old

So these pictures were cross-stitch embroidery. I made to my taste a sampler of three graphs of trees and I add with a lace on tone, a detail seen in the delicate work of French embroidery. The framework should also follow the same style. The frame purchased from a supermarket, I pasted wood moldings with shape of birds, and then the process I have shown before: white paint to water, worn with alcohol and sealed, this time with colourless wax.

Aquí pueden observar los detalles.

Here you can see the details.

This other picture, which initially would be two mini pictures each with three motifs, it is to decorate the dining in the kitchen. Here I use a more narrow lace to avoid overloading the small design.
Aunque he bordado mucho punto cruz, estos son los primeros que he enmarcado y he quedado muy satisfecha con el resultado.
Hasta pronto.

Although I have embroidered many cross-stitches, these are the first that I have framed and I am very satisfied with the outcome.
Good bye.
