La semana recién pasada giró en torno a varias actividades de mis hijos, las que maticé con pequeños adelantos en mis tareas.Mi hijo Sebastián cumplió 19 años, y por primera vez no se encontraba en casa para el tradicional saludo (canto) de cumpleaños, muy temprano por la mañana. Le encanta el grupo Queen, así que asistió al concierto que el grupo dio en Santiago con su nuevo vocalista. Después de todo, está terminando con éxito su primer año de estudiante de ingeniería.

Mi hijo Felipe se ha dedicado desde muy pequeño a tocar guitarra, manejando con soltura la guitarra clásica como la eléctrica, arte que ha aprendido en talleres en el colegio. Este año, además, integró la pequeña orquesta que su profesor organizó. Todo va bien…salvo matemáticas. Estuve toda la semana con él, repasando geometría, pues hoy comenzaba los exámenes finales.My son Felipe has been dedicated from very small to play guitar, he play fluently classical as electric guitar, he has learned in art workshops at school. This year also he participated in the little orchestra that his teacher organized. Everything is going well ... except math. En cambio Benjamín, mi hijo menor, está bien con matemáticas, pero ni siquiera intentó hacer un rasgueo en la guitarra durante sus clases de música, para él las artes no están dentro de sus intereses. Ha quedado una guitarra vacante…se podrán imaginar quien le “hace guardia”. Muy pronto empezarán sus vacaciones (no me incluyo), y avanzaré con mis cosas, con música rockera todo el día.By contrast, Benjamin, my younger son, is well with maths, but didn't even try to play a guitar during their music classes, for him the arts aren't in their interests. The guitar has been vacant ... you can imagine "who want it". Very soon begin their vacation (not myself included), and move forward with my things, with rock music all day.

Preciosos tus hijos, que entrete eso de que cada un tenga intereses diferentes, debe ser toda una aventura ser su madre.
Te felicito de verdad por tu bella familia. Sobre las clases me gusta mucho hacerlas y esto de dictar seminarios me encanta, es solo un día y se van con un proyecto y una técnica nueva y aprendida parala casa, es entretenido y conozco bellas personas.

Happy birthday to your son! Isn't it something that two siblings from the same family have different strengths...my son does well in math my daughter does not. What a wonderful cake and great you were able to spend that time with him!
Haaaaaaaaa, los hijos, y sus gustos y preferencias son tan variados, pero para todo nos damos un poquito de tiempo.
Tanto las matematicas como la musica so las unicas dos ciencias que son exactas, he ahi una similitud entre ellas.

Maria, Your son Felipe and my Youngest son are very similar. My son loves the quitar and has so much trouble with Geometry. He keeps asking why he needs to know those things. I was terrible in Geometry in school though so I tell him to call my son-in-law, the teacher.
