¿Quieres conocer dónde vivo? / Want you to know where I live?

Miss Laurence invited to show our city: streets, buildings, etc., so I join this proposal to teach them a little corner of Chile.
14 years ago, I left Santiago, capital of Chile, with its frenetic pace and exhausting, to live in a plot in Lonquen (Talagante province), about 50 kilometres distant of the city. The change was abrupt, because despite the proximity (40 minutes per Highway), Lonquen is a rural sector, where activity turn around agriculture, the commerce closes at lunch and there are things only basic necessities. Over time one gets used and begins to know and enjoy places and traditions of the town.
One thing that most like me is the landscape, hills where you look, with large tracts of planting anything, vineyards and field’s houses with corridor and clay tiles.

The photo following is the Municipality of Talagante, modern building along the characteristics described above,

Corridor with arches, the legacy of Spanish colonization,

Casa típica, sin antejardín,

Typical house without garden,

Iglesia de Lonquén (edificio centenario, monumento nacional),

Church of Lonquen (centenary building, national monument)
El camino desde Talagante hasta mi casa,

The road from Talagante until my house,

Y mi calle.

And my street.

(Pictures I took after two days of rain, and that is why I could not show the landscape).

Titi
